Mike ChantMike Chant (Vocals, Guitar, Mandocello, Didgeridoo, Bodhran), the son of a Welsh fisherman, learned his trade the hard way playing anywhere and everywhere. He is a self-taught multi-instrumentalist with a passion for all good music. He has been influenced and inspired by the likes of Roy Harper, Pink Floyd, Zeppelin, Tull, the Beatles and all good singer songwriters. He has become a "Master of the Art…" of Didge playing and is in much demand not only for his playing but also his teaching.
Mike is a great believer in sharing his knowledge of music with others as he has learned so much from other musicians and intends to continue the tradition…
elvire4 Elvire Beijdorff (vocals, Flutes, Fretless Bass) has a unique, baroque approach to her bass playing and a soulful coaxing style with her wooden flutes. Born and bred in the Netherlands she has, however, spent most of her life living in Pembrokeshire and is now part of the local scenery. Passionate about issues (whatever they may be) and the World around us, she invokes a real sense of purpose behind the music. She has maintained that no-nonsense Dutch-ness and always shoots form the hip. No British bushes to beat about there. She is classically trained as a pianist but turned to fretless 5 string bass and flutes to loosen the classical shackles so her playing comes from the heart rather than the page…
Tom_nagusTom Chant (Guitars, vocals) is an amazing young talent who will go a long way with his unique and powerful style, cascading harmonics pour effortlessly from his fingertips and the percussive slap and tap fingerstyle makes for an inspiring spectacle. It's not just impressive playing technically; Tom has the innate ability to put in just the right amount but when he lets fly watch closely… Tom first picked up the guitar when he was 13 years old. Within 3 years he achieved competitive standard at national level. He is a true artisan, expressing his own music in his virtuoso playing and is already a prolific composer and songwriter.
