Nágus was born in 1995 in the beautiful Welsh county of Pembrokeshire, an ancient and historically rich place.
Nágus music has evolved and expanded over the past 10 years from its folk/Roots origins. It is acoustic music with attitude and virtuosity. Recent addition, Tom Chant brings some phenomenal fingerstyle techniques and has added extra lustre to the already potently unique sound of Nágus. The philosophy that underpins Nágus music is one of truth, sharing and enjoyment. Collaboration with other musicians, spontaneously at gigs and in the studio is not unknown, always allowing room for individual expression.
To try to define the genre of Nágus is a tough one, as they are; Acoustic/Celtic power Folk/rock/blues/World/Blah/etc…with a big chunk of Didgeridoo…
